Lunéville in three words? A monument: the château; A personality: Stanislas Leszczyński; An object: earthenware. All this is true, but that’s not all there is in Lunéville. Yes the « Versailles of Lorraine » is a gem; yes the local ceramic factories hit the very heights of virtuosity and splendour; yes the father-in-law of Louis XV has left an indelible mark on the town. But there are other things to discover here and there: the Place Léopold, the Maison du Marchand, Saint-Jacques Church…and rum-baba. So come and enjoy!
The Château de Lunéville
It was constructed under the orders of Duke Leopold I between 1703 and 1720. Here we call it Little Versailles.
The Parc des Bosquets
Nesting behind the château, the Parc des Bosquets really is the town’s green lung. Locals and visitors come together here to enjoy a relaxing moment as they enjoy views of the jewel of Lunéville’s heritage.

The church of Saint-Jacques de Lunéville
A listed historic monument, it was built in the 18th century in a thoughtful and sober Baroque style.
It’s richly ornate organ is one of the very rare examples in France of an instrument of this kind with no visible pipework.
