At the foot of the Jura Mountains, this 5-star Relais & Châteaux is a haven of peace, with the Mont Blanc in the background and an atypical golf course as your partner. Spend a day in a mountainside oasis, on the links, in the restaurant, or simply relaxing. Golf not your game? The spas here will be calling your name.

9 am: Rendez-vous on the green

Facing the Jura hills, you pull out your driver to challenge the beautifully designed 9-hole golf course, featuring very fast greens in synthetic grass. A few water obstacles spice up the game. In winter, snow sports enthusiasts can ski just five minutes from the hotel, in the Monts-Jura resort.

12:30 pm: Eat lunch in Le Jardin

After a morning of sports, recharge your batteries at Le Jardin restaurant. The menu offers colorful dishes inspired by Mediterranean cuisine, not to mention the view of the garden of the seasons. This real invitation to travel through food.

2 pm: Visit Voltaire

Go on a 12-minute drive towards Ferney for a guided tour of Voltaire's Château, where the famous philosopher of the Enlightenment spent the last 20 years of its existence. Innovative digital tools and touchscreen tablets detail the personal library of the author of Candide or celebrate the values of tolerance and freedom of thought.

4 pm: Sport or relaxation?

Those who still have pins and needles in their legs can try water skiing or wakeboarding at the nearby nautical base. Others might prefer sunbathing around the lovely outdoor pool with massage jets. Its slate flooring contrasts with the teak beach dotted with brownish-grey sunshades for a full-experience treat.

5:30 pm: Spa time

A well-deserved break after a busy day. Near the 29°C (84.2°f) indoor pool and hot tub, the spa (with hammam and sauna) offers a range of treatments by Carita. In the gardens of Jiva Hill, the Nordic Spa ritual begins with a swim in waters at 10°C (50°F)and continues in the warmth of a Canadian red cedar wood cabin.

8:30 pm: Dinner by the fireplace

At Le Jiva Restaurant, enjoy the French cuisine of young chef Jean-François Vasseur, admirer of Paul Bocuse and Pierre Gagnaire. The menu includes poached half lobster, braised sweetbread and confit pigeon legs and roasted breast. Bon appétit!

10 pm: Foosball or a movie?

The evening ends around the vodka bar or in a "Tripot." Rest assured, this is the name of the game room located in the basement of the hotel, and equipped with a pool table, a foosball table, a pinball machine and a juke box. Movie-lovers can watch a classic or a new release movie in the "Eden" projection room with all the popcorn, ice cream and sweets they want.
