Some evocative names... Bergerac, Monbazillac, Pécharmant, Montravel, Saussignac Rosette and Côte de Duras. These wines belong to the rich gastronomic and cultural heritage of the Périgord Agenais.

The wines of Bergerac and Duras express their characteristics through a complete palette of 5 colours (dry white, sweet white, liqueur white wine, rosé and red) and are articulated in 17 wines with designation of origin that reflect a precious heritage.

The vineyards of Bergerac and Duras stretch as far as the eye can see, rolling around the towns of the same name. From the wine houses (The Quai Cyrano in Bergerac and the Wine House in Duras), several wine tourism routes are offered, following the Bergerac and Duras wine route.

ON THE BERGERAC WINE ROUTE

Monbazillac and its magnificent castle overlooking the Bergerac valley, Saussignac and its bucolic wine-growing slopes, Pécharmant and the discreet charm of its beautiful mansions, the gentle slopes of Rosette, the secrets of the Montravel appellation and its emblem, the castle and the famous tower of Montaigne. In the Bergerac vineyard, 140 winegrowers (45% of them are organic wines or HVE) welcome you and will welcome you to their domain with passion. In addition to the tasting-sale, a range of wine tourism events are offered: art exhibitions, educational walks, gourmet markets, concerts, jazz aperitifs, dinner and wine pairings.

ESPACE VIN - LE QUAI CYRANO

A visit to the Quai Cyrano (Cyrano Platform) is a must! This new House of Culture, Wines and Tourism is a magnificent showcase of the Bergerac and Duras vineyards.

This space allows you, according to your preferences, to find wine tourism activities that you will surely like to practice in the vineyard: such as a treasure hunt, a "sunset" aperitif in a winery with breathtaking views on the hills of Monbazillac, the discovery of the flora and fauna in the vineyards, ...

On the first floor of the "Espace Vin - Quai Cyrano" there are spacious tasting rooms and two fabulous terraces: one panoramic overlooking the Dordogne River, and the other installed in the cloister of the seventeenth-century Recolets. Choose where you want to enjoy a moment tasting your glass of wine accompanied by foie gras or Périgord cheese dishes. It is an opportunity to prepare your program of visits to the vineyards.

And throughout the summer, in front of the Quai Cyrano, in the port, events such as concerts, gourmet markets are held. It is the opportunity for winegrowers from each denomination of origin to create ephemeral bars to publicize their wines.
