LES VILLÉGIATURES OF BIRON CASTLE In Biron
Six unforgettable evenings. Six  concerts on deckchairs in the exceptional setting of a castle with medieval, Renaissance and classical charms. These Villégiatures are an experience in which concerts are organised with prestigious artists in an exceptional location. Our motto? To highlight the beauty of the historical heritage that surrounds us and to bring it into line with current artistic projects. As for seating, deckchairs will be made available to attendees to enjoy the show in a more relaxed way. Despite the space offered by the inner courtyard of the castle, a hundred seats are offered. An intimate atmosphere guaranteed! To accompany this experience, we offer a catering area and a refreshment stand.

MARQUEYSSAC AUX CHANDELLES (MARQUEYSSAC BY CANDLELIGHT) In Vezac 4, 11, 18 and 25 July and 1, 8, 15, 22 and 28 August 2024
This event takes place every Thursday in summer, from 7pm to midnight (last visit at 11pm). Every evening, 2,000 candles are placed around the gardens and more than 150 points of light are placed along the path that runs from the cliffs to the waterfalls. At dusk, the romanticism of Marqueyssac by candlelight is enhanced by a play of light and shadow that highlights the beauty of the cliffs and gardens. At dusk, Marqueyssac by candlelight is also an opportunity to discover the Dordogne valley, its castles and some of the most beautiful villages in France illuminated: Castelnaud-la-Chapelle, Beynac-et-Cazenac, La Roque Gageac…

LES PIQUE-NIQUES BLANCS (THE WHITE PICNICS), IN THE GARDENS OF MANOIR D'EYRIGNAC In Salignac - Eyvigues
Monday evenings in summer are a time for fun and celebration. Young and old alike have fun, sing and dance all night long. It is an open-air party, with a picnic on the magnificent "white garden" lawn, a DJ, a light show, a cocktail bar, an ice cream cart and fireworks to round off the evening. The only requirement is to wear white. During these evenings, the gardens of Manoir d'Eyrignac become a fairy tale, "guinguette" style. It is not necessary to book in advance to take part in the white picnics , but it is recommended to buy your ticket online in advance:

104th LA FÉLIBRÉE In Tocane-Saint-Apre
The Félibrée is a huge annual celebration of Occitan culture and traditions. Over 128,000 flowers decorate the town for 3 days, along with music, dance and demonstrations of ancient crafts and traditional cooking, in the Occitan language. A word of advice, don't leave too early, because as the Occitan proverb says: "femna e dentèla son mai polidas a la candèla" (women and lace are prettier, by candlelight).

FESTIVAL CULTURE AUX CŒURS (FESTIVAL CULTURE TO THE HEART) In Montignac From July 24 to 28, 2024
This is the international festival of world dance and music. The village of Montignac welcomes artists from all continents. Every year, around ten folklore groups perform. During the event, it is transformed into a bucolic, colourful and lively village where discovering other cultures is very easy.

BLACK PÉRIGORD FESTIVAL In 20 places in Périgord
Every summer, this festival offers the public a series of European-level classical and jazz concerts. Its aim is to highlight the talents of young musicians invited to perform at the Académie de Musique Ancienne du Périgord Noir and at the Semaine d'Orgue de Sarlat. Each season, it is organised around a theme, with around forty concerts, open-air or in halls, offered in around 20 different venues, mixing stars of chamber music, winners of major international competitions, young talents of the baroque and important European jazz figures.

MIMES, INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF MIME AND GESTURAL ARTS In Périgueux
It is the most important festival of its kind in Europe. Its aim is to reflect the diversity of the arts of mime, gesture and body-based movement: mime, gesture theatre, body interpretation, dance, circus, object theatre, puppets. MIMOS is made up of an IN (composed of international companies with an admission charge) and OFF  (unpaid companies partly supported by the festival). They offer a multitude of events around the festival (fairground, workshops, courses…)

WINE DATING AT QUAI CYRANO In Bergerac
Every Thursday evening in summer, the winegrowers of the Begerac et Duras Wine Route invite you to the Quai Cryrano. These evenings are an opportunity to discover the wines, meet the winemakers and taste local products in a musical atmosphere and in a privileged setting, enough to awaken our epicurean instincts! Reservations are mandatory and must be made online, at the latest 72 hours in advance, via the Quai Cyrano ticketing service.

FESTIVAL DES JEUX DU THÉATRE (THEATRE GAMES FESTIVAL) In Sarlat From July 20 to August 5, 2024
This is the oldest theatre festival after Avignon. With a diverse programme of open-air performances in the heart of the historic town of Sarlat. As every year, the festival offers a different play every evening, in four legendary locations in Sarlat, all open-air, to enjoy the classics, discover contemporary works and all forms of theatrical expression.
