For Galeries Lafayette, Maison Hévin has reinvented the “Torpedo” automobile in the form of a mini sweet bite. Hévin’s creation is composed of a flourless biscuit, an almond and chestnut biscuit, a caramelised crème brûlée with vanilla and pepper and a mousse made with dark Grand Cru chocolate from Peru. €47 for 6 people (350g)

DUBERNET

L’Opéra de Foie Gras

A Dubernet in-house creation in which the smooth semi-cooked duck foie gras is a perfect contrast with the crunchiness of the pistachios and almonds in the gingerbread. €56 for 4 to 6 people (about 250g)

ÉCLAIR DE GÉNIE

Santa Claus

This year, Christophe Adam is dreaming of a sweet Christmas. Starring Santa as the central feature, this creation combines dark chocolate biscuit with pistachio praline and a whipped white chocolate ganache. An array of small chocolate decorations make the magic last longer. €59 for 5 to 6 people (about 600g)

Bûche Chloé

For the Chloé yule log, Pierre Hermé wraps the aromas of raspberry into a crème brûlée made with raspberry tea, bringing out the taste of the fruit with notes that also temper the ardour of the Manjari chocolate. €71 for 6 people (760g)

Bûche marrons & noix de coco

Pastry chef Yann Couvreur has dreamed up a chestnut and coconut yule log. His creation is composed of chestnut mousse, coconut biscuit and coconut cream sprinkled with chestnut chips. A blend of original flavours for this exclusive creation.

La Forêt Noire

Philippe Conticini's Black Forest yule log combines cherry confit, whipped vanilla ganache and dark chocolate mousse on a soft chocolate biscuit. The chocolate shell provides a touch of crunchiness. €48 for 6 people (about 630g)

LA GLACERIE PARIS

Confiserie glacée

La Glacerie Paris is at Galeries Lafayette for Christmas. This seasonal creation is composed of an ice-cream mousse, a calisson made with almond dragees, a tangy orange and mango sorbet, a compote of candied cherries and a star anise and lime granita wrapped in a delicious chocolate marshmallow. A yule log to delight all those who are children at heart. €62 for 6 to 8 people (about 660g)

L’hexa-ours

This Christmas creation by Le Chocolat Alain Ducasse is exclusive to Galeries Lafayette. Designed to resemble a six-sided constellation, it is composed of vanilla praline coated in delicious dark or milk chocolate. €17 for 1 person (about 60g)

Bûche Lafayette

For 1, 2, 3, CHRISTMAS! Pierre Marcolini has created a truly original log. It is composed of a milk chocolate sabayon with a raspberry crème brûlée, and a crunchy layer of cocoa nibs on a biscuit made with Grand Cru chocolate from Cuba-Sao Tomé. €80 for 6 to 8 people (about 750g)
