1- General

a) Registrations must comply with these Terms and Conditions to be valid. 

b) By registering on the https://atoutfrance-e-travelacademy.com/inscription/?lng=en website, the registered person agrees to be bound by these Official Rules

2- Promoter

a) The Promoter is

3- Eligibility

a) Registration is free and open to any travel consultant 18 years of age or older.

b) Entrants must be retail travel agents and permanent residents of Australia or New Zealand.

c) The Promoter reserves the right to request verification of age, identity, residential address, travel agent registration and any other information relevant. Verification is at the discretion of the Promoter, whose decision is final.

d) The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who is involved in any way in interfering or tampering with the conduct of this website.

e) Any costs associated with accessing the website/application is the registered person’s responsibility and are dependent on the internet service provider used.

f) Employees of the Promoter and/or its related companies and/or any agencies associated with the website, are not eligible to participate in the training to win any competitions associated. “Immediate family” means spouse, de facto spouse, parent, natural or adopted child, and sibling (whether natural, or adopted by a parent), whether they live in the same household as the employee.

 

4. Current Agent Incentive

a) Incentive runs from 4 November 2024 – 31 December 2024.

b) the incentive is open to all Australian retail travel agents based in Australia (except in the Northern Territory) – New Zealand retail travel agents (based in New Zealand) who have signed up, completed the e-training and successfully passed the final assessment (e.g be certified “France Connaisseur”) by December 31st.

d) There will be one winner who will win :

· 1-night stay for two at a luxurious French Accor hotel

· An exclusive French dining experience featuring gourmet cuisine (for 2 pax)

· Private wine tasting showcasing the finest French wines (for 2 pax)

· A relaxing spa treatment inspired by the wellness culture of France (for 2 pax)

Valued at 2000 AUD / 2200 NZD

Depending on the winning retail agent’s location, the weekend will either be in Auckland, Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane. The agent will be able to select the location.

e) For agents to enter, they must sign up, complete the e-training and successfully pass the final assessment (e.g be certified “France Connaisseur”) by December 31st 2024

f) Selection of the winner will be selected randomly out of the ones who have complied with the instructions as listed in point e, above.

 

5. Draw

a) In order to win, the selected agent (Current Agent Incentive outlined in clause 4) will have successfully registered and completed the e-training by December 31st.

b) The draw will happen on 6 January 2025 at the Promoter’s office

c) The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any Entrant for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry, which is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

d) Should there be no travel advisors certified ‘France Connaisseurs’ by December 31st (Date of the end of the competition), the promoter reserves the right to extend the deadline of the competition)

 

6. Cheating, Abuse and Disorderly Behaviour

a) Any Entrant may be disqualified from this Competition at the discretion of the Promoter for any failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions or cheating in any way such as

b) Using any cheats, hacks or other 3rd party “helper” applications or “bots” to simulate human interaction.

c) Using fraudulent information or using multiple alias’ to multiple time

 

7. Winner Notification

a) The draw will happen on 6 January 2025 (as outlined in Section 5 ‘Prize Draw’) and the winner will be notified by email on January 10, 2025.

b) Once notified (via the email address supplied at point of entry), the winner will have 7 calendar days to reply with acceptance of their prize. Should the selected winner not reply within 7 days of being notified, or decide not to accept the prize, then it will be deemed that the prize winner has forfeited their prize, and a new winner will be selected. Same rules will apply for the new winner (should this scenario occur). If after a further 7 days there has been no acceptance notification received, then the prize will be cancelled.

 

8. Prizes

a) The prize includes:

· 1-night stay for two at a luxurious French Accor hotel

· An exclusive French dining experience featuring gourmet cuisine (for 2 pax)

· Private wine tasting showcasing the finest French wines (for 2 pax)

· A relaxing spa treatment inspired by the wellness culture of France (for 2 pax)

b) The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-replaceable and non-redeemable for cash.

c) Depending on the winning retail agent’s location, the weekend will either be in Auckland, Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane.

d) The prize cannot be used for any other promotions.

e) The promoter reserves the right to make minor adjustments to the prize if the listed options are unavailable, ensuring the overall value of the prize remains unchanged.

 

9. Publicity Release, Use of Personal Information

a) The Promoter will collect information (including personal information) from all entries and use it for the purposes of the Competition and for its purposes. Entrants consent to the Promoter disclosing information, including personal information, to third parties for the purposes of the Competition.

b) The Promoter is not responsible or liable in any manner for any content or materials posted in relation to this Competition.

c) The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry or for inaccurate information or for any loss, damage or injury as a result of technical or telecommunications problems, including security breaches. If such problems arise, then the Promoter may modify the Competition.

d) The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality/suitability of any of the goods or services offered as prizes. The Promoter is not liable for any loss suffered or sustained, to person or property and including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by it, or its agents, in connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods or services connected with this Competition.

e) The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that is suffered by any registered Entrant or winner (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking any prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

f) If this Competition(as a result of the completed training) is not capable of running as planned due to any reason, including unauthorised intervention, fraud, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration,

security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Competition, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any applicable law) in its sole discretion to cancel the Competition or to disqualify any individual who has tampered with the entry process.

 

10. Exclusion of Liability

a) By registering on this website each registered person assumes sole liability for any personal injury and/or damage to property caused or claimed to have been caused to him or her as a result of or in connection with participating in any training and/or Competition

b) These Official Rules do not affect, and are not intended to affect, any rights or remedies a consumer might have, which cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.
