Soar above Paris with FlyView

If you want to learn the Eiffel Tower by heart, climb into the FlyView simulator to discover every bulb, rivet, and beam of the magnificent tower. It took no less that 48 hours of filming to capture all 324 m (1062 ft) of the Dame de Fer.

This monument, erected by Napoleon to honor his army in the wake of the victory at Austerlitz, was originially meant to take the form of an elephant! Finally, inspiration was found in Roman triumphal arches, and that's what stands today in the Place de l’Étoile above the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. From this view, flyers can admire the hauts-reliefs and high-standing ornamentation that dress the facade of the Arch—captured thanks to a drone suspended by helium balloon.

One of the most emblematic sights in Paris, you can appreciate the Place de la Concorde from a whole new angle with FlyView. From one side, it faces the famous Crillon and Marine Hotels, from the other the Jardin des Tuileries, another the banks of the Seine and the last the columns of the Assemblée Nationale. But the highlight of this part of the flight is undoubtably the Luxor Obelisk itself, carved in ancient hieroglyphics you can (almost) read from this vantage!

The Pont Alexandre III was inaugurated during the Universal Exposition in 1900, linking the Invalides to the Grand and Petit Palais. Recognizable among the dozens of Parisian bridges thanks to the four golden-bronze pegasuses alighting on their perches, it provides an amazing view of Paris from the Seine.

Wandering along this footbridge, charmingly dubbed "The Bridge of Lovers," is a lovely way to get from the Louvre to the Institut Français. Take the time to soak in the architecture of the first iron bridge to span the Seine.
