Le célèbre architecte franco-suisse, Charles Edouard Jeanneret-Gris (1887-1965), plus connu sous le pseudonyme « Le Corbusier », a reçu la reconnaissance de l’Unesco. Dix-sept de ses œuvres sont désormais classées au patrimoine mondial de l’humanité, dont dix sont situées en France.

Le Corbusier was a pioneer of modern architecture - 51 years after the Franco-Swiss architect's death, 17 of his "works" was listed on UNESCO's World Heritage list. Here are the 10 on French soil!

The famous French-Swiss architect Charles Edouard Jeanneret-Gris (1887-1965) is best known under the pseudonym "Le Corbusier". Under that name, he designed groundbreaking architecture worldwide.

In fact he was so skilled that 17 of Le Corbusier's "works" was included in UNESCO's World Heritage List 51 years after his death. And since France was his primary "canvas", you can experience 10 of the UNESCO-certified works here:
