The next edition of Nuit Blanche will take place in early June in Paris and its region, specifically on the night of Saturday, June 1st to Sunday, June 2nd, 2024. A night of cultural experiences all over the capital with artistic installations and events offered in museums, cultural venues, and public spaces
As is the tradition since 2002, Paris celebrates contemporary art for one night where artworks blossom throughout urban spaces during Nuit Blanche. From 7 p.m. until 6 a.m., nearly a million visitors, Parisians, residents of Greater Paris, and tourists, flock to the streets of the capital and surrounding municipalities to discover artists' installations, showcased under the open sky. Amidst floating installations on the Seine, lyrical performances, burlesque dances, and video projections, one embarks on a cultural journey through Paris!
At the heart of the 2024 edition
This year, the event will not only take place in Paris and throughout the metropolis but will also radiate from French Polynesia to New Caledonia, passing through Réunion and the Caribbean... The Overseas Territories will be honored in this 23rd edition, along with sports and Olympism, particularly on the eve of the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Contemporary artists from around the world will thus have carte blanche to "tell the story of this diverse France" present on four continents and rich in incredible diversity, especially cultural.
But this edition will also mark the start of the festivities for the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. It will therefore host collective and individual performances, giving a prominent place to the athletic dimension.
