A Temple of Fashion, Glamor, and All Things Chic
Created in 1865 by Jules Jaluzot, the Printemps Haussmann is one of the biggest department stores in Paris today.
Located on the Boulevard Haussmann in the Opéra district (9th arrondissement), the shopping icon covers a 45,000 square meter space dedicated to elegance, fashion, glamor, and dreams through a selection of the most beautiful French and international brands.
Since 1975, its 200 meter Haussmannian façade and its immense Art Déco-style dome have been classified as historical monuments.
The store is divided into three separate buildings across 27 floors: Printemps de la Mode (9 floors), Printemps de la Beauté et de la Maison (11 floors), and Printemps de l'Homme (7 floors).
There's a whole floor of over 3,000 square meters dedicated to shoes alone. A food hall brings together the top 10 bggest names in French cuisine and cooking.
The Printemps Haussmann also has seven separate restaurants with a wide variety of cuisine, for everything from a quick coffee break to a traditional meal.
To recover from your "shop 'till you shop" fever, be sure to visit the Ladurée tea salon to savor their famous macarons, or even on the building's rooftop to relax on the Déli-Cieux restaurant's panoramic terrace.
During the Holidays and New Years period, the store's façades offer a surprising show of light and sound around a specific theme. The window decorations are created by renowned designers and top names in fashion.
As with many visitors from Paris, France, and across the world, come discover this enchanting location!
