The Mediterranean waters of Marseille will provide a stunning setting for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games’ sailing competition from July 28 to August 8.
Speed, excitement, logistics, balance, tactics and strategies … Paris 2024 is rapidly coming into view, and the harbour of Marseille, renowned for its superb sailing conditions, is set to be a hub of exceptional water-based talent. Marseille’s harbour is where the French national team of more than 70 athletes are training as part of the Pôles Espoir de Voile (installed in Marseille since 1996) and de Kayak that the city of Marseille hosts at the Roucas- Blanc water sports stadium. In recent months numerous international teams have joined the French on the water, giving the Rade de Marseille - the city’s waterfront - a taste of things to come in 2024.
